Default selling invite to gold trim guild = guild emote?

If you become a member of a gold/silver/broze guild, does that mean that YOU'RE account has effectively EARNED that guild "rank" & associated EMOTE? If so, when the purchaser leaves that guild, is that "EARNED" emote still "AVAILABLE" to the purchaser of a gold/siler/bronze cape guild invite?

I ask beacuse, I've been seeing a number of ads from players SELLING invites to gold/silver/bronze trim cape guilds. & I can't think of any other reason why someone would PAY to join a "trimmed" guild. Just cause you're in the "trimmed" guild, doesn't mean that the officers of that guild will actually LET you PLAY to acquire sboxes or Champ Points....

Edit: If someone "buys" an invite to a guild with a current ranked emote, can that person use that ranked emote? If so, when they leave that guild, can they still use that emote?

It's more common than most think. Main reason is claiming epeen without actually earning it. Emotes are the icing on the cake,it's been happening since known ranked guilds existed.

Like mentioned above, this happens quite often. People just want the shiny cape.

Just so, people are not misinformed, the emote and the cape are to different things. Just because a guild has a gold cape, does not mean they have the guild emote. The emote comes from your position on the ladder.

TY for reopening :0

OP question rephrase for clarity:

If someone "buys" an invite to a guild that has a current ranked emote, can that person then use that ranked emote? If so, when they leave that guild, can they still use that emote (effectively account based benefit)?

If a person joins a guild that is currently ranked, they are able to use that emote while in that guild. As soon as the guild loses the ranking or the player leaves the guild, they will be unable to use the emote.
Unlike HA or Zaishen emotes, the guild rank emote is not permanent.
